Job Summary
A software company is seeking a Remote Senior System and Network Administrator.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Applying expertise in Linux, TCP/IP networking, storage, virtualization, and cloud for design improvements
- Providing regular mentoring (both ad hoc and within planned training sessions) for junior team members
- Ensuring that all platform documentation is well managed and regularly updated to reflect the changes deployed
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 3-5 years prior experience in active support of a complex AWS environment
- At least 3 years working in a large Linux environment
- 3-5 years as a System/Network administrator
- Some experience designing and working with MySQL databases
- Skilled at configuring software and hardware including servers, networks, and operating systems
