Remote Senior System Engineer

Job Summary

A software company has an open position for a Remote Senior System Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Developing and supporting Python, Bash, Perl based scripts, tooling, and applications
• Writing and supporting Ansible playbooks and Puppet modules
• Providing technical guidance on open source identity and access management technologies, including workflow management tools

Qualifications Include:

• Basic knowledge of Linux authentication systems
• Demonstrated working knowledge of web servers, clients and browsers, LDAP directories, and Kerberos
• Demonstrated experience as a system administrator in a Linux environment
• Understanding of identity and access management concepts like authentication, authorization, user management, identity store, and federation
• Experience with source code management (SCM) and configuration management tools like Git, Puppet, Ansible, or CFEngine
