Remote Senior Systems Administrator
Job Summary
Supporting the VA ESOM contract, the full-time Remote Senior Systems Administrator will lead troubleshooting for complex infrastructure issues, partner with cross-functional teams for enterprise virtualization initiatives, and design and implement virtual desktop solutions within Azure and Citrix environments.
Key responsibilities
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex infrastructure issues and implement long-term solutions
- Configure, administer, and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments
- Develop disaster recovery documentation and provide technical insights for application compatibility and security
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Five years of relevant systems administration or enterprise infrastructure experience
- Experience administering Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
- Experience supporting Windows Server and enterprise virtual desktop environments
- Experience using ServiceNow for IT service management
