Job Summary
An aerospace company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Systems Certification Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the regulatory authority and internal engineering team to establish the certification basis for the aircraft systems
- Ensuring consensus standards meet company objectives
- Engaging with industry associations on topic specific issues
Qualifications for this position include:
- Attend happy hours
- 15+ years of aviation experience in one of the following Parts: 23, 25, 27 and 29 Type
- Strong understanding of Systems and Equipment (Subpart F) qualification methods and means of compliance
- Bachelor of Science
- Hand on experience working on type certification of an aircraft from concept to issuance of type certificate
- Working knowledge of ARP4754, ARP4761, RCTA DO-160, DO-178 and DO-254
