Job Summary

A technology company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Systems Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Setup, maintain and monitor Linux systems
  • Maintain patch levels and security updates
  • Implement strategies and plans to increase service reliability

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • BS in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related network engineering field
  • Familiarity with GitHub, Puppet, JIRA/ Confluence, and AWS
  • 5+ years experience as Linux (RPM-based preferred) system administration
  • 2+ years recent experience with AWS/Cloud infrastructure
  • 3+ years experience with scripting, e.g., shell, perl, python or ruby
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
