Job Summary
A web development and marketing company is seeking a Remote Senior Systems Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Implementing, documenting, and rolling out of features/updates
- Ensuring the stability of our hosting environment
- Working on client onboarding and training, as well as post onboarding virtual support of our clients
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Hands on experience designing and engineering microservices
- Strong experience and extreme comfort working within Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Solid production experience with Openshift or preferably Kubernetes
- Experience or deep understanding of Docker containerisation
- Proven track record system engineering in/with Linux, Nginx, Varnish, MariaDB/MySQL and PHP, Docker
- Previous hands on server security and system hardening experience, and/or performance optimization and load testing
