Job Summary
A public research university is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Talent and Culture Compensation Specialist Compensation Specialist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Researching and analyzing competitive compensation practices in the job market
- Analyzing, evaluating and classifying all University Positions
- Planning, developing, and coordinating implementation of routine job structure and market studies
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Extensive knowledge of theories, principles and procedures relating to position classification and job analysis
- A minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in compensation
- Considerable knowledge of specific regulations, procedures, and precedents applicable to preparation of market studies
- Ability to compose clear and complete reports of classification findings and recommendations
- Proven skill in the preparation of both job descriptions and classification specifications for a wide variety of positions
- Strong competency in statistical analysis and spreadsheet modeling and advanced sills in Excel and/or Access databases
