Job Summary
A financial services company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Tax Accountant.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Performing tax technical research as needed; prepare memos to document and communicate findings
- Reviewing and preparing federal and multi-state income tax returns
- Leading a team comprised of Tax Staff Accountants
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Certified Public Accountant with active license required
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- Proficient knowledge of U.S. tax code and tax regulations
- 4-5 years of experience preparing complex returns for Corporations, Partnerships, and Individuals
- Ability and desire to develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Progressive accounting experience in public accounting or similar work environment
