Remote Senior Tax Accountant

Job Summary

A financial services company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Tax Accountant.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Performing tax technical research as needed; prepare memos to document and communicate findings
• Reviewing and preparing federal and multi-state income tax returns
• Leading a team comprised of Tax Staff Accountants

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Certified Public Accountant with active license required
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• Proficient knowledge of U.S. tax code and tax regulations
• 4-5 years of experience preparing complex returns for Corporations, Partnerships, and Individuals
• Ability and desire to develop and maintain strong client relationships
• Progressive accounting experience in public accounting or similar work environment
