Remote Senior Tax Accountant

Job Summary

A building materials and supply company has an open position for a Senior Tax Accountant.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Preparing general journal entries and reports for month-end close
• Performing regular analytical reviews of operating expenses
• Reconciling a variety of balance sheet accounts including bank accounts, prepaid expenses, and accruals

Position Requirements Include:

• Four-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 2-5 years accounting experience and financial statement preparation required
• CPA and Public accounting experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Working knowledge of GAAP and Financial Statement Reporting
• Ability to solve difficult and complex accounting and related financial problems
