Remote Senior Tax Analyst

Job Summary

An information technology and services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Tax Analyst.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Reconcile tax installments and tax accounts
• Prepare and review of Canadian, U.S. and international income and indirect tax returns/filings
• Support the design, implementation and maintenance tax processes and controls

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in public accounting or industry
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Avalara is an asset
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with strong organizational skills
• Technology savvy, with sophisticated Excel skills
• Bachelor's degree, enrolment in or completion of accounting designation or relevant tax qualification is considered an asset
