Job Summary

Rapidly growing Silicon Valley tax firm seeks personable and experienced EA or CPA full-time during the tax season (January 25th to April 15th) and some part time work during the off season up to October 15th.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and/or review returns for Individual, Partnership, Corporate, and Fiduciary tax returns.
Prepare Multi-State individual and business tax returns.
Prepare FinCen Form 114 (FBAR) and Form 8938.
Research technical tax issues and best practices and provide recommendations.
Respond to notices from tax authorities and provide assistance during tax audits.
Communicating directly with customers by email.
Complete a tax return from start to finish.
Assist with other projects/duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
Minimum of 4 years of related experience
Experience EA or CPA
Proficient in Corporate, Partnership, Complex Individual, and Trust tax returns
Motivated to meet client deadlines and provide excellent client service
Experience managing multiple client engagements
Creative problem solving and research skills
Detail-oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Proficient with QuickBooks
Minimum 4 years' experience with Lacerte
Residing in the Pacific Time Zone is required (Residents of Oregon, Washington or California are strongly preferred.)
