Job Summary
A healthcare company is seeking a Remote Senior Technical Accounting and SEC Reporting Manager in Chicago.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Being responsible for all technical accounting matters
- Establishing and maintaining accounting policies, best practices, and procedures
- Implementing ASC 842, including implementation of a lease accounting system
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- CPA license required
- 7+ years of experience (emphasis in technical accounting roles)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field of study
- Strong knowledge of FASB / SEC / SOX rules and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
