Job Summary

A civil engineering consulting firm has an open position for a Remote Senior Designer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

Utilizing prior design experience to proactively address potential design issues
Applying industry design standards on renewable projects and coaches others on the team
Mentoring other technicians, designers, and junior engineers.

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

Associate or technical degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent required
Minimum of 15-18+ years of progressive experience to a civil engineering technician and/or designer role
At least 8-10+ yrs. of experience in design of renewable energy projects
Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is required.
Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project)
Proficient at large scale site grading design, additions to existing civil designs, and earthwork calculations is required
