Job Summary
A civil engineering consulting firm has an open position for a Remote Senior Designer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Utilizing prior design experience to proactively address potential design issues
- Applying industry design standards on renewable projects and coaches others on the team
- Mentoring other technicians, designers, and junior engineers.
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Associate or technical degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent required
- Minimum of 15-18+ years of progressive experience to a civil engineering technician and/or designer role
- At least 8-10+ yrs. of experience in design of renewable energy projects
- Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is required.
- Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project)
- Proficient at large scale site grading design, additions to existing civil designs, and earthwork calculations is required
