Job Summary

An information technology company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Technical Editor.

Must be able to:

  • Work with writers and developers to create documentation
  • Ensure the quality and style of the content
  • Educate writers and content teams about developer documentation

Required Skills:

  • Proven background in Development Editing and Copy Editing
  • Experience editing technical documentation, ideally within software development
  • Ability to work with writers developing topics and organizing text
  • Ability to perform development edits, style reviews, copyedits etc
  • Experience with Acrobat Pro
  • Ability to translate technical documentation to approachable, engaging content that is still technically accurate
