Job Summary

A software development company has a current position open for a Remote Senior Technical Writer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Making continual improvements to the docs based on feedback and on your own judgment
  • Creating tutorials, getting started guides, and other learning content
  • Editing developer docs written by internal developers and coach them on ways to improve their writing skills

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years experience as a developer docs writer
  • Experience with web technologies like REST APIs and npm
  • Superior grasp of written English, including excellent editing skills
  • Experience writing code examples in JavaScript or other modern languages
  • Working knowledge of Markdown, git, and GitHub
