Job Summary
A government services company is seeking a Remote Senior Transportation Manager.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Develop and implements end-to-end transportation solution and delivery solutions
- Develop and implements a Transportation and Freight strategy to improve transportation costs, delivery requirements
- Effectively project and manage large end to end supply chain transportation activities
Qualifications for this position include:
- Demonstrated analytic and business problem solving skills
- Minimum 8-10 years experience in a Transportation and Freight Management function with management responsibility for and experience
- Ability to influence internal changes, work effectively in a team environment and have ability to work with dynamic environments
- Bachelor's Degree required in Business Management and Operations, Industrial Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management
- Articulate and persuasive communication skills; both written and verbal
