A business services and development company has an open position for a Remote Senior UI Engineer in Santa Clara.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Build a mapping framework that is flexible, powerful, and performant
- Find the gaps we need to fill and help us level up through documentation, training, and friendly discussion
- Define and solve interesting graphical programming, algorithmic, and architectural problems
Qualifications for this position include:
- Passion for JavaScript and the Web as a platform, reusability, and componentization
- Experience creating advanced mapping applications
- 4+ years of frontend, mapping, data visualization, or GIS experience designing & implementing highly interactive maps for web apps
- Knowledge of web user interface unit testing, profiling, and code tuning
