Job Summary
An insurance company is in need of a Remote Senior Underwriter.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Selecting, growing and maintaining a profitable book of business for assigned high-volume territory
- Evaluating and analyzing highly complex accounts for risk selection and pricing purposes
- Serving as a mentor for less experienced underwriters
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Occasional travel required; a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle report per company standards required
- Bachelor’s degree
- Five years of commercial lines underwriting experience
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and social media
