Job Summary

A financial company has an open position for a Remote Senior Underwriter.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Performing 2nd level underwriting and escalation reviews
  • Serving as lending program guideline subject matter expert
  • Calculating income based on tax returns and/or other income documents in file

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of mortgage banking underwriting experience
  • Previous experience working with AUS and LOS Systems
  • Previous experience with manual underwriting
  • Familiarity with appraisal vendors and Interthinx type tools
