Job Summary
An information technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Underwriter.
Must be able to:
- Drive business model and pricing strategy and policies to maximize profitability
- Support the sales team in developing pricing proposals, evaluating strategic options, and responding to customer RFP inquiries
- Work with senior leadership on accounting and finance revenue decisions as it relates to sales opportunities
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, or other related area
- Strong organizational and decision making skills with a high degree of mathematical aptitude
- 3+ years’ experience in Pricing, Product Development, Underwriting, Actuarial, Finance, or other related areas
- 1+ years’ experience with modeling and heavy data management
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes
- Advanced Excel skills
