Job Summary
A healthcare provider has an open position for a Remote Senior Underwriting Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Analyzing claims data and developing cost-of-care projections for existing customer renewals and new business opportunities
- Reviewing utilization, cost trends, and other assumptions that are used in pricing models
- Interacting with clients/customers and internal staff to resolve issues related to information provided
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of seven years of systems analysis/development experience
- Demonstrated experience in computer systems and 10 plus years experience in technical staff management
- Strong development, management and communications skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- All other requirements necessary for this position
