Job Summary

A technology consulting firm has an open position for a Remote Senior Unix Administrator in Troy.

Must be able to:

  • Install and configure servers and other application components
  • Diagnose unique and complex system, network and application issues
  • Support tools and utilities using scripting or other programming languages to automate processes

Position Requirements Include:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Linux/UNIX, and system software installation, customization, and support
  • Experience with Virtualization Technologies (OVM/KVM, OLVM, VMware, Solaris LDOM and/or Zones)
  • Experience working with Solaris 10&11 and x86 servers running Redhat Linux
