Job Summary

A multinational internet retailer is in need of a Remote Senior Virtual Assistant Technology Discovery Applied Scientist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Work with engineers to make low latency model predictions and scale the throughput of the system
• Design and build machine learning models to personalize the product discovery experience
• Propose and validate hypothesis to direct our business and product roadmap

Qualifications Include:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in predictive modeling, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Causal Models
• Masters with 8+ years OR PhD with 3+ years of applied work experience
• Proficiency in algorithm and model development, model validation and model implementation
• Strong communication and data presentation skills
• Experience distilling customer requirements into problem definitions, dealing with ambiguity and competing objectives
• Hands-on experience programming in Python or similar programming languages
