A software developer has a current position open for a Remote Senior Website Performance Researcher.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Coming up with hypotheses, test them and publish any resulting research
- Pre-processing lists
- Manually scripting web crawlers and automating other tasks
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Programming ability in PHP, Python or another widely used language
- Deep understanding of data transfer from web server to client
- Strong grasp of client-side website performance
- Ability to use standard website performance benchmarking tools
- Understanding of performance benchmarking measurements
- Strong expository writing skills
