Job Summary
A technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Senior Wildlands Fire Community Systems Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Conducting research in design, development, testing and utilization of application system software
- Designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging applications software and systems
- Enhancing software to reduce operating time and improve efficiency
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s Degree required or Minimum 8 years' relevant experience
- Good sense of responsibility and attention to detail
- Candidate should demonstrate strong object-oriented development and design skills and familiarity with current software development best practices
- Expert level knowledge of Java/SQL and related technologies
