Job Summary

An information technology company is filling a position for a Remote Senior z OS Systems Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Providing dump analysis and problem determination of root causes
  • Participating in the installation, etc, of a large IBM z/OS Parallel Sysplex system
  • Installing, maintaining and customizing operating systems

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 6+ years’ hands-on experience supporting IBM z/OS Mainframe Sysplex environment
  • Experience with mainframe software installation, maintenance and support
  • Associates degree in Computer Science/Management or related field
