Job Summary
A company is looking for a Remote Sensing & Geospatial Analyst II or III.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze aerial and satellite imagery, LiDAR, and topography data
- Forecast the impact of severe weather on utility network performance
- Utilize remote sensing to predict tree presence, height, and productivity
Required Qualifications
- BS, MS, or PhD in geography, ecology, or remote sensing
- Domain expertise in remote-sensing processing and geospatial analytics
- Proficiency in remote sensing and geospatial programming in Python, R, or PostGIS
- Familiarity with geospatial packages such as arcpy, GDAL, and geopandas
- Experience with remote-sensing data sources like satellite imagery and LiDAR
