Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Sensing & Geospatial Analyst II or III.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze aerial and satellite imagery, LiDAR, and topography data
  • Forecast the impact of severe weather on utility network performance
  • Utilize remote sensing to predict tree presence, height, and productivity
Required Qualifications
  • BS, MS, or PhD in geography, ecology, or remote sensing
  • Domain expertise in remote-sensing processing and geospatial analytics
  • Proficiency in remote sensing and geospatial programming in Python, R, or PostGIS
  • Familiarity with geospatial packages such as arcpy, GDAL, and geopandas
  • Experience with remote-sensing data sources like satellite imagery and LiDAR
