Job Summary

A full-lifecycle IT solutions provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Service Desk Technician in Chantilly.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide telephone support to end-user community on complex hardware, software and network related problems
  • Provide first tier resolution over the telephone by diagnosing, troubleshooting and attempting problem reproduction
  • Escalate issue to internal Tier II or III resources as needed

Required Skills:

  • Associate Degree or additional equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
  • 2 - 4 years of experience providing technical support for mobile devices, computers, and IT systems
  • OR 2+ years of clinical support within the Department of Veteran affairs
  • Experience in the installation, configuration, use and troubleshooting of computers and related equipment in a professional environment
  • Clear, concise oral and written communications
  • Interpersonal communication and de-escalation skills
