Job Summary
A publishing company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote SIS Math Editor and Learning Architect in New York City.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Contributing to the instructional design, product development (prototype design), and production of math technology and print program components
- Supporting and contributing to content creation efforts for SIS math programs
- Reviewing work with Senior Learning Architects, program authors and advisors on an as needed basis
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Must be able to collaborate with colleagues via face to face, conference calls, and online meetings
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in education or relevant discipline
- 3 years of educational publishing experience; experience developing learning solutions for the K-12 math market
- 3 years experience developing interactive instructional and/or assessment materials
- Knowledge of math curriculum, pedagogy and best practices
- Editing and writing ability; basic grammar and composition skills; strong verbal and written communication skills
