Job Summary
A search engine is in need of a Remote Site Reliability Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Report and solve problems within the Core infrastructure and collaborate on issues with product engineers
- Participate in software engineering, writing code for the continuing reduction of human intervention
- Monitor the platform, responding to incidents, correcting and improving systems to prevent incidents and planning capacity
Position Requirements Include:
- Experienced sysadmin with professional skills in Linux
- You have at least three years of experience using a public Cloud
- You are comfortable writing software to automate API-driven tasks at scale
- You have used Ansible, Puppet, Chef or another config management suite, know where it's broken, and open to trying new alternatives
- Healthy knowledge of Linux
- Relentless desire to automate and build software tools
