Job Summary

An information technology company is filling a position for a Remote Site Reliability Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Engaging with service owners to improve the entire service lifecycle
  • Measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health
  • Developing software platforms and frameworks

Required Skills:

  • Ability to travel to San Francisco for 1 week per month
  • Experience designing, analyzing and troubleshooting distributed systems serving production traffic
  • Experience in writing scripts in one or more languages such as Python or Go as well as $SH
  • Experience with algorithmic thinking, data structures, and software complexity
  • Ability and desire to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks
