Job Summary

A technology company is seeking a Remote Site Reliability Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Deploying, supporting, monitoring and troubleshooting distributed systems
  • Documenting the IT infrastructure, policies and procedures
  • Being a part of an on-call rotation

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in the technical field of study
  • 5 years experience deploying, monitoring and troubleshooting large scale distributed systems
  • Background in Linux administration (mainly Debian)
  • Scripting/programming knowledge of at least Unix shell scripting
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
