Job Summary
An e-commerce provider and online marketplace for the cannabis industry has a current position open for a Remote Site Reliability Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Instrumenting codebases and systems to improve telemetry, resiliency, and reliability of the platform
- Working with various software engineering teams on architecture and design of complex systems
- Leading complex migrations of platforms, and build out solutions to make platforms multi-region if possible
Qualifications for this position include:
- Experience working as an embedded SRE in a software engineering team
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Worked with modern architecture patterns
- Experience writing testable code in a high-level language, such as Ruby or Python
- Experience in chaos engineering and incident response programs
- Experience with modern telemetry and monitoring systems for time-series metrics and tracing
