Remote Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
A technology company is filling a position for a Remote Site Reliability Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting the team to implement Site Reliability Engineering best practices
- Responding to production incidents
- Architecting for resiliency
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ Years in a Site Reliability Engineer role
- A firm understanding of the Azure cloud environment
- 2+ years of experience in Bash/Korn shell, as well as Java or Python
- Experience with monitoring of OS/application-level metrics and related visualizations
- Experience and proven ability to work remotely
