Job Summary

A software company is filling a position for a Remote Site Reliability Engineer in Chicago.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Monitoring infrastructure, systems and application performance and capacity
  • Leading efforts for updating production with new versions/infrastructures
  • Identifying and automating manual workarounds and process improvements

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related
  • 1+ year experience in Site Reliability Engineering or similar
  • 1+ year of experience managing large AWS infrastructures
  • 1+ year experience with technical operations and software development
  • General open source programming, Linux, and Unix-like operating systems experience
  • Background in system administration scripting (shell, bash, python, etc)
