Job Summary
A digital automotive marketplace is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Site Reliability Engineering Director.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Guiding the wider engineering organization to build production systems
- Directly managing and mentoring a team of site reliability engineers
- Managing, innovating and creating programs
Qualifications for this position include:
- 4+ years of experience growing and building highly effective teams
- 5+ years of experience with software development and/or systems design
- Strong Linux/Unix systems, networking, and database fundamentals
- Experience with production incident detection, response, and communications
- Strong understanding of certificate (SSL/TLS) and key management
- Experience collaborating across organizational boundaries
