Job Summary

A social media platform is in need of a Remote Site Reliability Senior Capacity Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Enabling predictable and optimized delivery of infrastructure resources
  • Interpreting data from multiple sources and determining impact on infrastructure capacity
  • Developing processes, software, and technology required to lead capacity management programs

Qualifications Include:

  • MS in Computer Science, Operations Research or any engineering degree
  • 5+ years experience in performance or capacity engineering
  • 10+ years of relevant experience working as a Sr. Software Engineer on large distributed systems
  • Experience in any of C/C++, Golang, Java, Scala, Haskell, Python, R or other programming languages
  • Strong backend development experience with a solid foundation in data pipelines
