Job Summary

A technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote SLED Account Executive.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Working to identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities within existing accounts
  • Develop new strategies for offerings within key accounts
  • Establishing proofs of concepts and pilot implementations

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 5+ years of field sales experience in state and local agencies
  • Record of reaching or exceeding annual sales quotas and budgets
  • Experience working in consultative customer engagement with a major enterprise software company
  • Broad understanding of the government acquisition process, specifically the government's IT acquisition process
  • Ability to present to C-level executives, IT Directors and project managers from state and local agencies
  • Ability to maintain a solutions sales mentality in an environment with multiple offerings and services
