Job Summary
A technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote SLED Account Executive.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Working to identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities within existing accounts
- Develop new strategies for offerings within key accounts
- Establishing proofs of concepts and pilot implementations
Qualifications for this position include:
- 5+ years of field sales experience in state and local agencies
- Record of reaching or exceeding annual sales quotas and budgets
- Experience working in consultative customer engagement with a major enterprise software company
- Broad understanding of the government acquisition process, specifically the government's IT acquisition process
- Ability to present to C-level executives, IT Directors and project managers from state and local agencies
- Ability to maintain a solutions sales mentality in an environment with multiple offerings and services
