Job Summary

A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Small Animal Internal Medicine Consultant.

Must be able to:

• Provide phone-based consultations to veterinary peers
• Meet caseload and turnaround expectations
• Participate in scheduled consulting service meetings via teleconference

Required Skills:

• Ability to travel to Westbrook, ME for 2 weeks of training
• Must know proper specimen handling techniques
• Expected to maintain active Diplomate status and State/Provincial Veterinary Licensure
• Expected to maintain proficiency and continually develop medical knowledge base
• Requires a current DVM license and DACVIM or equivalent certification
