Job Summary

A pet healthcare company is seeking a Remote Small Animal Internal Medicine Consultant.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing live phone consultations to veterinary peers
  • Knowing proper specimen handling techniques and lab tests offered
  • Meeting caseload and turnaround expectations

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Be able to travel to Westbrook, ME for 2 weeks of training
  • Be able to travel to a Reference Laboratory and attend Medical Consulting Services training
  • Have a current DVM license
  • Have ACVIM (Small Animal Internal Medicine) board-certification
  • Have a dedicated quiet office space
  • Have high speed internet service with minimum speeds
