Job Summary

An accounting firm is in need of a Remote Small Business Advisor Controller.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Serving as the primary resource for prospective and new clients
• Assisting clients in transitioning from prospective clients to highly satisfied new clients
• Applying knowledge of accounting and tax matters and of the firm’s services to maintain client’s financial obligations

Required Skills:

• Prior experience in client-facing roles in financial services with a focus in lending, accounting or tax
• Prior experience with accounting, payroll and tax issues related to small business owners
• Prior experience with individual tax returns
• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and cultural sensitivity
• Excellent organizational skills
