Remote Social Editorial Copywriter

Job Summary

A digital marketing company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Freelance Social Editorial Copywriter.

Must be able to:

• Writie long- and short-form articles, incorporating SEO keywords and subtle product mentions
• Write social posts and stories that promote articles
• Brainstorm article ideas based on an editorial calendar and data insights

Qualifications Include:

• 4-6 years’ experience as a copywriter in an agency environment
• Exceptional portfolio that demonstrates social and editorial copywriting
• Experience creating social content, either for yourself or a brand (especially Instragram and TikTok)
• Experience writing editorial content for online branded content marketing efforts, in addition to traditional marketing copy
• Deep understanding of the millennial/gen z audience - what they're into, what excites them, what interests them
• Basic understanding of SEO and writing meta data, including alt text
