Job Summary
New sports memorabilia company seeking a social media professional to create and schedule content, and to generally project manage the companies' digital presence for a cohesive presentation of content.
1. Creating content for outlets including website (Shopify), social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and email blasts (Klaviyo). Creating engaging posts for products and teams. Creating our own fresh content as well as reposting content and manipulating images for our own use.
2. Create content for weekly email campaigns scheduling emails and assuring the content gets out to the right lists/people. Email blasts focused on bringing awareness to products, events, sending readers to the blogs etc.
3. Creating and managing the social media calendar assuring daily posts go out as scheduled and catching any errors/if a post doesn't go out.
4. Community engagement engaging with followers, liking/sharing focused content, getting likes and new followers.
5. Daily Instastories focused on game days, events, and new products.
6. Creating promos/ads for the Facebook Ads marketing team
7. Creating and changing website banners to align with the content being sent in email blasts and in social media posts.
8. Update Shopify website should be familiar/skilled with the platform to comfortably make changes to existing designs, and able to create designs which will appropriately embed in the platform.
Previous experience/ideal qualities:
1. Should have previous experience in the sports industry, enjoys working in the sports world to appropriately use sports lingo. Should understand what sort of content/posts work for this audience, the right influencers/pages to engage with.
2. Graphic design skills for creating banners, simple editing of images for posting/reposting
3. Creating content calendars
4. Collaborating/working with teams
5. Confirming content goes out on time/as written
6. Highly detail oriented
7. Has ideally worked with a small/startup type company

Someone who is a hard worker, meets deadlines, easy to work with and is a go getter. We like people on our team who can tackle it all. If they don't have an answer to a question they figure it out. They communicated when to expect deliverables and update our company in real time. Totally transparent.
