A media organization needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Social Media Editor.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Monitoring and responding to breaking news moments in our issue spaces across all social platforms
- Staying informed on news and changing trends, best practices, and tools in social media management
- Developing and executing a social media strategy that drives growth and engagement goals
Qualifications for this position include:
- Proficiency in use of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and photo/video editing softwares
- Experience with web publishing platforms (including WordPress), social media and audience management platforms
- A sense of humor and ability to use it judiciously through social media
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A passion for reproductive rights, health, and justice
