Job Summary

The Social Media Manager is responsible for building brand awareness, reflecting our core values, engaging and nurturing our social community, and assisting our marketing team by converting our audience into leads, clients, and engaged fans. The ideal candidate is skilled, self-sufficient, knowledgeable, creative, and passionate social media maven. This is a part-time, 20 hours/week role in a virtual/remote work environment. The Social Media Manager reports directly to the Marketing Director.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage ttcInnovations' social platforms focusing on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest
Schedule social media posts on management platforms according to established frequency
Create social media campaigns and calls-to-action that drives engagement and generate leads
Collaborate to create a consistent content calendar, ensuring social posts align with other marketing campaigns
Create content in the form of copy, media (images, videos, GIFs, etc), graphics, newsletters and blog posts to support the overall content strategy
Assist with internal and external marketing efforts including but not limited to, admin, digital, web, email, advertising, event, print, outreach, and PR.
Analyze, measure and report on social media metrics on agreed upon cadences while developing strategies to meet and improve established metric benchmarks
Continually review changes to the market, consumer trends and the activities of competitors, adjusting the social media strategy as needed
Contribute to the development and implementation of quarterly content strategies
Regularly import, stylize and schedule blog posts into the content management system
Assist in scheduling e-mail campaigns
Manage timelines, due dates, and follow up with contributing authors on contributing blog author content
Assist in the development and implementation of the ad strategy including writing ad copy, sourcing supporting creative, researching targeting audiences, setting up ads for review, reviewing ad performance and brainstorming on ideas for optimization
Plan, organize, and moderate virtual community events including Facebook Lives, Zoom Meetings and webinars
Implement and maintain sound social media SEO tactics aligned with our keyword and SEO strategies to drive targeted traffic
Maintain brand consistency, standards, and voice across all social platforms
Listen, monitor and engage in relevant social discussion about our company, competitors, and/or industry
Maintain knowledge of marketing trends, development and best practices while continuing and furthering professional development
Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE + SKILLS
Exceptional knowledge of marketing strategies, concepts and best practices
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.
Proficient knowledge in social SEO best practices including keywording and optimization
Strong copywriting, blogging and digital communication skills
Strong eye for design and ability to adhere/uphold brand standards
Active and well-rounded personal presence on social media
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
4+ years' experience in social media marketing
Bonus experience and skills include: Adobe Creative Suite, Facebook and Instagram ad implementation, Canva, Sprout Social, Tailwind, Later and email marketing
