Job Summary

A social media technology company is filling a position for a Remote Social Media Technology Senior Privacy Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Embeding sound technical privacy practices in everything we ship
• Helping uncover risks before they become issues
• Taking system designs or implementations, find the important privacy issues lurking inside, suggest/drive robust designs to fix them

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Privacy domain knowledge and experience in technical privacy review to find common failures, good design patterns, and tradeoffs
• Familiarity with technical privacy issues within the software and systems development lifecycle
• B.S. and/or M.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Or relevant work experience that demonstrates the aforementioned privacy domain qualifications.
• Ability to build relationships across subject areas and teams
• Ability to grasp business, user, and technical requirements, and can identify common privacy dependencies in large-scale systems
