An education company is filling a position for a Remote Social Studies Instructional Designer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Serve students and teachers
- Reshape curriculum products for districts, schools, and teachers
- Design instructionally sound resources
Qualifications for this position include:
- 4+ years of experience either teaching, or building instructional content for the classroom
- Designed curricular solutions for Social Studies courses rooted in anti-bias/anti-racism frameworks
- Life-long learner, committed to always understanding and defining the problem at hand before jumping into action
- Track record of delivering even when the tasks seem impossible
- Clear communicator who can give direct, empathetic feedback and can succinctly share your insights
- Proven success record of working with adult learners to coach them on learning targets and execution
