Remote Sociology Faculty

Job Summary

To support a diverse student body, the part-time Remote Sociology Faculty will teach various sociology courses, provide timely feedback to students, and collaborate with academic program directors to enhance program quality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide substantive, timely feedback to students on assessment activities
• Maintain a positive and student-centric learning environment
• Identify at-risk students and collaborate with student services for support

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in sociology from a regionally accredited university required; Ph.D. preferred
• Higher education teaching experience required
• Online teaching experience required
