Job Summary

An information technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Software as a Service Sales Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Assess project scope and deployment requirements to determine optimal cloud configuration options
  • Lead security review/assessment process to validate company solutions with customer policies
  • Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation and automation

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Technical Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as the principal administrator for firewalls, storage, networking, and other datacenter components
  • 3+ years of experience administering Cloud based infrastructure – AWS, Azure, OCI
  • Knowledge of common protocols including LAN / WAN, subnetting, VLANs, IPSec VPN, BGP, IDP, QoS, LUNs, RAID, iSCSI, and FC
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Group Policy, Remote Desktop Services and more
  • Enterprise backup solution expertise - Commvault, Veeam, Zerto, or similar technologies
