An open-source software company is seeking a Remote Software Company Writer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Writing articles for our Distilled Blog
- Writing video scripts and social copy for social media accounts
- Joining the Editorial/Social team for brainstorms around new product launches, cultural events and technology news
Qualifications for this position include:
- 2-3+ years experience working in editorial or social media
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and familiarity with AP style
- Experience working with social media and/or short-form video
- Experience working on deadlines for multiple projects at once
- Experience conducting research and interviewing internal and external sources
- Keen eye for detail, from grammar and punctuation to brand tone
